Every year, the library holds a reading challenge to encourage students to read more and discover a love of reading. To encourage the to read more books and more challenging books, students are encouraged to read all of the 24/25 SSYRA books.
Students that read each book and complete a written survey will receive a brag tag for each one and a keychain.

Middle School Reading Challenge Program
The Middle School Reading Challenge Program is designed to inspire and motivate students to explore the vast world of literature available in our school library. This engaging program encourages students to read as many books as they can throughout the school year, fostering a love for reading and enhancing their literacy skills.
Program Details:

Objective: Students will aim to read a diverse selection of books from the library, expanding their knowledge and appreciation for different genres and authors.

Incentives: To create excitement and motivation, the top 50 students who read the most books by the end of the year will be invited to an end-of-year celebration party.

Small Incentives: Throughout the year, students will receive small incentives for regularly visiting and using the library. These could include bookmarks, stickers, or entry into a raffle for larger prizes, encouraging consistent engagement with the library.
This reading challenge not only aims to enhance students' reading skills but also to build a vibrant reading community within the school. Join us in making this year a memorable one filled with adventure through books!
